do you have any clue what you want to do about college? i sure dont and i dont know if im alone in that or not.

after you graduate the best thing you can do is take a year off and find out what you wanna do for the rest of your life.

well the best you can do is apply at northeastern, Boston college, harvard, yale, and princeton.

if they turn you down sell drugz

hahaha

seriously dude, just try to get into a college you want to get into. dont forget to apply to in state colleges as well as out of state colleges just incase. theres a college for everyone, you just gotta find out which one suits you.

sry im not gunna be a senior im gunna be a junior tho.

i dont know, im just going to apply and get denied by lots of places, then probably do the GAP program at uvm.

dude i heard UVM is MAD easy for in-staters to get into, almost like a last resort. yet, i want to either go to UVM and saint michaels, both actually pretty good schools

i'd say thats a pretty good plan

you can always transfer after a semester if you dont like where you choose

my friend and i both wanna be physical therapists, soo we r both gunna go to a school that specializes in that, and HOPEFULLY atfer a few years working, we can open up our own practice. And we both ski, soo we would be sooo G

"the best thing to do...?"

I think everyone finds that one out for themselves. There's not one best thing for anyone... or I think everyone would probably do it...

physical therapists make a SHITLOAD of money dude, no lie. my sister is going to school for that now, good choice dude

pretty sure i got accepted into college before i knew what i was doing. and im still pretty iffy. its just that 7 more years of school is going to be a bitch.

not a good idea, it'll make it so much harder to get back into the academic swing of things.

you don't need to know what you want to major in, undeclared is normally the most popular major for incoming college freshman. just find a college of the right size that's in the right area. if you know of anything you might be interested in, find a college with a strong department in the subject and try some classes.

UVM is mad easy for vermonters to get into. my brother goes there and got in kind of easy with ok grades in highschool. Im from vermont and my guidance counsler said that is a backup school for me.

Taking a year off to travel/find yourself is cool is you don't plan on making a lot of money.

My advice is to go to a good school that will give you a solid education (regardless of how close to the mountians it is), and bust you ass while you are there. Then you can get a good job with pleanty of vacation time and a big salary, wich will lead you you buying as many pairs of skis as you want and taking baller trips to big mtns.

The harder you work now the less you will have to when you are older.

Well I want to major in Biochemistry and possibly go to UVM or UNH or University of Coloarado at boulder as last choice..I will be happy to get into school

then i want to go to dental school

i agree, but what sucks is that now is when we are probably in the best condition in our lives to do things. when we get older we might have all this money and stuff, but instead of like skiing or doing other crazy things we dream of, we might just spend it on like bingo. lol not really but i think you get the idea.

i've kind of gone down both paths throughout highschool so far. sometimes i think i should work hard and get everything done and get good grades, then other times i'm just like "pssh, what am i wasting my time learning things that don't matter to me." overall the decision is yours and only you can find out what your true calling is and honestly just follow your heart. some people really just aren't meant to be in school.

yeah i have no idea about college. I have looked at a couple places but its going to suck were all going to end up doing it during school and were going to have to keep up with school work while doing college shit.

As someone said up there, apply to "safety" schools, or schools that you know you will get into. I'm going to apply to 6 or 7 schools, with 1 being Boston University (no chance, but it is worth a shot) and one being Bryant University (I'm 98% I could get in there. My other schools, Bentley College, Babson College, UVM, and Stonehill College, are the schools that I ideally would love to go to. Then, all that's left is making a choice, and when that time comes you just gotta go with your heart man.

I've known that I wanted to go to Wharton Business at UPenn for the past couple years....I just hope i get in.

go to school in Utah bro.. sick skiing and good schooling.

no education = no $

not true for everyone though but hey why take the chance?

im in the same position as you...dont reall know what college i wanna go to, but kinda know wat i wanna do. either criminal law or business law...both take a lot of schooling, but both come back with rewards, but still very different.

i have no clue what i want to do or what college i want to go to. hell i dont even know the general area i want to go to college im looking at some out west and some here on the east coast. my dad always tells me that he didnt pick his major until halfway through his sophomore year so if i dont want to rush it i dont have to.
