please use the search bar, convieniently located on the top right hand side of you screen unless you dislexic which in that case it could be anywhere. anyway please search for topics relating to ski selection, boot info, clothing info, how to make a box or rail, summer skiing, really just use the search bar for everything. that way we dont have to see the same post 500 times a month. If you dont find the info your lookin for, search using diff words 2 more times and if theres still nothing then post new thread. Its really annoying to see the same threads over and over and over. Thanks a bunch.

It's cool that you've chosen to take responsibility for everything someone posts a redundant thread on. Now that you have nominated yourself the president of the post patrol we can just blame you when somone posts a topic that has been covered before.

 
i must say, after seeing the same bloody thread over a couple years over and over and over gets quite irritating, especially when they drown threads that are actually interesting. so an effort to really rid the highly unecessary isnt something id frown upon too much, but with the new forums, im sure there will be some way to help reduce it, but enough of my talk in ski equiptment...

 
^^ okay asshole....... all Im sayin is I havent even been on this site a full year, and already ive seen the same thread posted at least 300 times and it not only is annoying, but it slows the site down . All im sayin is for everyone to please use the search bar so we dont se the same matierial over and over. I asked a simple request that ive seen many people ask, theres no need for for the nasty replies

That's why there's mods, and admins. No one has a right to post here and if the people who run this site decide to delete redundant posts they can.

As far as the nasty reply, your first post was arrogant, condescending and nasty. You get what you give.

 
I see both sides of this arguement. It can be anoying but then again I have been on some other sites as a newb and you really can't be fucked using search, I got flamed on thsoe sites but after watching this site over the years didn't seem too harsh to me... I think people learn pretty quickly what to do

Something I have seen on some forums is a sticky at the top stating rules/conventions etc People prob wont read it but at least you can then say they have been warned.

This thread is fucking stupid. People complaining about others not using the search bar is just as much a fucking waste of time and space as what they are complaining about.
