for those coming to SF to see the event this weekend, while you're in town, take some time either before or after the event to check out Sportsbasement near Chrissy Field in the Presidio if you need ski clothes

they've got tons of brand new ski wear samples (all well known brands) for the upcoming 05/06 season that are 50% off
don't know where they got it from, but there are some nice things in the mix
it's located in the faaaaaaar back of the store (not where the regular ski stuff is when you come in on the right, but in the far back of that section against the back wall). Come into the store, go right into the room on the end with the ski clothes up front, then hang a left and go until you hit the wall
the locals know about this place but out of towners usually don't
lots of other sporting goods things there as well (biking, running, swimming, backpacking, etc)
