oh wait shit...not morrison i meant gagnier. someone said that he cant compete with the world cuppers and you put him down that course and he cant do it as well...well hes a newschooler not a racer. thats like saying put a pro baseball player in an olympic soccer game.....its a retarded thing to say. if you say that gagnier has to go 90 down the course then thats like saying bode has to do a sw 10 blunt. gagnier can ski the race course which is the same as a racer going through a pipe but not airing out. now if gagnier lets say does it in half the time then the racer shoudl be doing a sw 5 blunt or airing out like 9 feet.

your the reason people look at anyone in the park and think they are a bunch of punks no wonder its so hard to earn respect in the ski industry when you got people like you making comments like that.

BTW, why do people compare racers to park rats and big mountain skiers? You never hear about road bikers compared to mt bikers. they are both very differnt. Its not like you can say one person is better at biking then the other. they are so different. so stop trying to compare racers with freeskiers.

 
See im fine with racers and i thinks its kick ass that miller won. But i fucking hate seeing those 7 year olds who race wearing that spandex when they still snowplow down the whole slope. Only wear the spandex if your good enough for it to make a difference!

 
lets not look past all of the kids who stare everyone down in the park, wear their goggles over their noses and talk shit about anyone whos half good. i dont think people really realize that if anyone comes off as cocky, its the kids in the park who wont stop looking at you if your not in their "crew" or a local. i dont think theres anyone on here who doesnt know what im talking about. granted, racers can be the same way, but dont go saying that their all cocky bastards like some of us arent the same way.

and yes, look at people like jon. they wouldnt be nearly as good as they are right now if it wasnt for racing before freeskiing. a good many pros did the same thing, so before you hate, look into how much its helped all these amazing skiiers.

Racing isn't the worst type of skiing now snow-plowing new yorkers at killington are stuck up as hell but i have no idea why. I got hella respect for what bode this year at least american skiing is getting more and more respect. It's especially cool since bode is just like a kid out of cannon mountain, shows that ne one can go from their home mountain to the top even if your mountain is small and unrespected.

i dont like racers because of how the racers are at my mountain and other mountains ive been to. bristol is a huge race mountain. they are seriously all rich and snobby. they budge in line and get away with it, get free food half the time, and talk so much shit about park skiers its not even funny. not to mention that half them go in the park and try to ski it. and the thing is is that i see no racers at my mountain ever venture into the woods. none of them as i believe can ski tight woods. They criticize park skiers skills yet all they ski is grooms. i hit up the grooms and half the time i get first tracks of the day. but after an hour i go to the park. race coourses and grrooms are boring

I hate how everyone who tries to defend racing always revert to the "smart guy" attitude, like pointing out the economics of skiing and stuff. I don't hate racers, I'm just not into their discipline of skiing. Although, I do hate the masters race team at squaw...
