no its not "fucking gay" you have to go ride one. I don't really understand how that is " fucking gay" I wouldnt say this is even close to an inferior product either. There fun to ride. Ive ridden both fixed is more fun. So go suck it.

I dont see how a skate helmet destroys my credibility, it protects my head and works fine. I dont need some stupid looking aerodynamic helmet to be good at racing. fixies just piss some people off, myself included. Though him trying to shit on Charmander made me lol, considering Charmander is easily the best DH rider on NS.

And for the record, I ride a fixie, I restored it from an old bike I pulled from a dump and I have to say its my favorite bike to ride despite having 4 other nice bikes. For me what I really enjoy about fixies is that there cheap to build so its easy to have a project bike most of the time which I always end up having haha.
I don't like how everyone bashes on fixie riders because i honestly think its false in most cases. For me fixies are just a fun way to get around and are relatively cheap to build. just because I ride a fixie doesn't mean I hate road riders that will get fully dressed up in spandex to go for a ride around town. Why should you hate on all fixie riders, not all of the people who ride fixies fit into your stereotypical view as "hipsters". Sure people ride fixies because they think its "cool", what about the bmxers who build 19 pound bikes and cant bunny hop up a curb? Or people ski park because they think its cool, theres always going to be people doing things to impress or develop social status but that shouldn't cause other people to develop a hatred for what ever it is there doing.
 
But our hatred is what helps trends pass. Once people get fed up with stupid trendy shit (example: Emo and Scene), the mainstream culture bypasses it for the next thing. The love/hate of trends is what fuels our culture.
Also, you can tell the difference between someone that knows bikes and a hipster. Trust me. Its easy.
 
i dunno tight pants are fine depending on who wears them, punks, and 80's metal bands with tight ass leather pants are awesome. emo kids arent.
80's metal wouldnt be half as cool without the extremely tight pant's, makeup,or long hair and hairspray.
