for the mac vs pc arguement

this is great adobe is no longer supporting premiere (video editing) for apple HAHAHA you know there is something wrong when adobe a company known for its video and graphical software pulls support from the supposed best platform for video and graphics!!!!

They are pulling out because if you edit on a mac, you edit with final cut.

Adobe premier doesn't even compare with Final Cut pro, i so want the new final cut with real time editing, no more rendering

YEa FCP is the best consumer editor out there. Hell it was even used to make scenes from X-men. Shake 3 another Apple program is amazing too, but its not for straigt editting. Its more for putting 3d animation and stuff into movies. Its a sweet program.

 
3dsm is a fun prog. anyone know a prog for pc u can put 3d characters in a movie? i guess u could just animate the character and use chroma key

 
Adobe probably makes some program that does the same thing as Shake. If you actually plan on buying one of those programs though it will cost you a lot. Shake is around 10 grand.

 
the fact is, the mac equivelent of any pc will cost around twice that price. apples are nice though

what is so much better about final cut though? are there any features that are actually that much better. and also you had to wait until now to get real time editing. premiers had it for over a year now.final cut is damn nice, but i dont see anything that makes it 'beat the shit' out of premier. seriously what is it? i like how all the adobe programs integrate, and its easy to download them off the internet, so you dont have to pay.

and shake is so expensive and no one would ever need it for making a ski video. they used it for lord of the rings, so we shouldnt even touch it. have fun paying 10 grand to 3d composite a clip taken on some little 1 chip digi.

im not satying macs suck, they are ncie, but i dont see any advantages that make them so much better that this argument has to exist.
