For the first time in history...

Today, me, Josh, Ryan, and Dube were riding Meadows, and there were so many kids with twin-tips, we actually out numbered the snowboarders. There was this other crew of kids that were all ridiculously good. Someone threw a Rodeo 7. It was just awesome to see skiing taking over the park.

here in taos skiers always outnumber snowboarders because there are no snowboarders

yea its like that pretty much everywhere now, it even kind of sucks cause half the kids can barely link turns.

today at keystone there was at least 2143428509485 billion skiers, and every one was just destroying the big line. it was neat

i need to move to whereever you guys are from cause in jersey skiers are outnumbered about 50 to 1 and i am not exadrating(i cant spell)

we have 6 regular park skiers and there are usually 1 or 2 that stop by during the weekend.. 257 passes were sold to boarders this year, and thats just for season passes.. i know so many kids that still go there without one all the time.. boarders definity outnumber us prolly 75>1 aha

ya i just noticed the increase yesterday, last year i would see maybe 1 or 2 other skiers on twin tip at my mountain, Mt. High, on a sold out day and almost everyone there is a snowboarder

4 years ago and my hill I was me and 2 other buds of mine on twins, we used to get hated on by the boarders, last year we started to see a noticable increase, and this year is ridiculous there are soo many of them, not out numbering boarders yet but damn close.

its funny i ride snowbird and noticed more core snowboarder type dudes than core skier type dudes. i think its because without a park you need to be really good to bring the park style riding into the natural terrain. there are more snowboarders, at least in LCC, who have this sort of approach. not to downplay the skiers, we have people like nick greenier (sp?) and the collins bros who kill it. its just something i noticed.

I lived at Big white for the last few years and there are definitely as many skiers as snowboarders. It also seems that in general the skiers in the park are doing bigger and better tricks. There are a few really good boarders, but more skiers disastering rails and throwin 5's and 7's with style.

I am always out numbered. On a lucky day there will be 3 or 4 skiers in the park. It is kind of neat though because when there are no skiers there I am the best one!!! lol But I get a ton of respect from my snowboarding buddys. They all want to try skiing.

yeah we are getting closer at my mountain. but you cant really count all the shitty snowboarders who go through and 50-50 the boxes, because then they would outnumber us by like 200. but yeah its definately close in terms of serious skiers and boarders. at roundtop once there were definately more skiers

yeah at greel peak and i think i can speak for pretty much all of central new york skiers outnumber snowboarders
