For snowboarders!!!

I am not a fan of the Cartel. I have had so many issues with Burton over the last fews years...and I was a dedicated Burton customer. I would definatley pick another company. Any other company.

i dont think theres much wrong with cartels, burton toe straps snap on every model and theres nothing you can do about that. warranty covers it usually.

Rome seems to be legit. Never rode em, but some kids at my mtn do and they love em.

I would also maybe check into Flow. I've heard some really great things about them.

ive got a bud that uses them and he said they were horrible, that the baseplate became loose and when you tighten it, it just gets worse, he said that the whole slip in deal is not worth it. and by no means is he some pro snowboarder but he seems to not like them, on the other hand i have a friend who uses some rome bindings and he loves them.

Now that I think about it, I do know a few friends who've had the Flow's rip the heel of their sole on the boot.

I have been looking into Rome for a new snowboard. They have a twin tip BC board. Seems so legit.

NO NO NO NO Flow are the shittiest in the world the only good bindings are...

Technine

Flux

Union

and im to lazy to think about the rest.

yeah that is the board my bud has, only he has his flow's on it and hates them, however he was pumped to get the board and he road it out in CO with me for a week, he said it was super responsive and something about it being really light and poppy

I have some mint Flux supertitans (3 days of early season a basin riding) on my Signal 159, may let em go for the right price

to snowbrdmlf. Rome boards are legit. I just picked up last years anthem and i love it. Rome is a quality company and i highly recommend their boards. As for the bindings i've heard nothing but good things about them. I personally don't have a pair but kids i've talked that have them love em.

dude there are plenty of technines hotter than those. like mine. 07 team 1's there both diff. colors there sick.

okay okay, looks like i have to set some things straight. NEVER, and i mean NEVER buy flows for the simple reason of they have no stiffness and are terrible in the the park, not as much cointrol as regular strap bindings. and in the pow they get filled with snow and ice very easily. i reccomend not getting burtons. it does not matter the model weather its the cartels or the missions or a pro model, DONT GET THEM! they break very easy and if your cap strap breaks and you lose the piece, you will NOT get a warranty. burtons hardgoods have gone to shit. Technines are very nice and durable but the buckles sucks. i reccomend buying some technines and switching buckles with someone. the only thing good about burton is the buckles are nice, while technines plain suck. look for a pair of last years technines because the new ones arent going to be as great.

Thank you.

I swear I don't know why I went and bought a second pair of Burton bindings after the first pair gave me such a hard time.

Again, Burton hardgoods have gone to shit. I've said it in many Burton threads.

Flows are horrendous. I had thew for one season and they were terrible. The only way to strap in is by standing up. You cant sit down and put them on. Also, i went off a jump two years ago and the pin broke off in the back on both bindings on the part that locks the bindings up nice and tight. I have Salomons right now and they work really good.

Rome makes some great bindings. The 390's are amazing and the Arsenal's are a steal at their price. T9 is right up there too.

if you want the best bindings made, go with Flux, they've been in the businesss for a long time and only make bindings. i have last years super titan SE in neon green they are sick. extremley lightwieght, and you can adjust every part of the binding from highback to straps without tools Flux is def the way to go

flows were just on sac a while ago. my friend has flows and love them, they seem sturdy and good quality, genius design too

nah dude the words in...Flux SUCK! all they have is nice looking graphics which is everyone thinks their godly. they havent changed their design in several years and still have shitty weak highbacks, bad buckles (like technines) and the straps pinch up and get shreded very easily. people buy them for the graphics, not the quality.

nahh dude i havent haad any trouble with mine yet and i ride with them aton last year, and havent noticed any weakness in the highbacks and straps are in good condition. i bought them for quallllity neon green was just a pluss

flux sucks. i rode some Super Titans, which are an upper level model for 10 days last year, they broke, i warrantied them and then snapped the new ones highback. needless to say i went back to my Rome 390's and Arsenals, each with at least 50 days on them and both are still flawless.

Like i've mentioned earlier, technines are a safe bet and a very durable but they are a bit heavy. The buckles are also complete crap so i reccomend switching the buckles with a different binding, burton has nice buckles but bad bindings.

For entry level bindings Forum Recons arent that bad because they are very cheap and not too bad for durability. They do take a while to get used to and adjust them, but once there all adjusted, they should work out out fine for a begginer/intermediate rider. I would not reccomend these if your very aggressive.

For more experienced rider, Ride Alpha MVMT bindings will you work quite nice. they are extremly light, one of the lightest on the market and fairly flexible. They are not a stiff binding. They are very very durable even thouhg how light they are, i have no heard many complaints. I would reccomend all of rides bindings.

Drakes are not bad bindings, they are quite heavy and very stiff. If your into eaborate graphics then these probly arent for you since there kinda ugly even thouhg that doesnt matter. they are solid bindings and have a few models for the more advanced rider.

Romes can be good depending on what model you get, most of them are good but there are a few that have had their problems. Fairly good quality bindings with a mid flex in them. Good for begginers and advanced riders alike.

Out of all these i favor the technines once you switch the buckles or Rides. Just watch out for next years technines as i've heard they were changing a couple things for the worse.

Whoa, glad thats out of me

i got a pair of cartel ols from 05 Missing one cap strap that imwilling to let go for like 60ish. pm me for if your interested. peace

If i where you i would go with Tech nine. i got the 07 Teams at the end of the season last year. They are byfar the best bindings i have ever ridden. Before my technines i rode a pair of Drake Leblancs for 6 years and they are stil ridable today
