Here for sale I have my lightly used Sony DCR-VX2000. I ran probably around 5 tapes through it, and I've had it for about a year. I'm selling it so I can upgrade. This camera has been mostly used to make short films, and I only used it once for skiing when it was about 35 degrees fahrenheit. If you want a good professional camera for skiing, short films, skateboarding, or anything, this is your camera!This camera is in very good condition and comes with a ton of extras. I bought this camera from ChronicLines, who is on NS as well. I am looking for around $1500 obo for everything. Please PM me.

I Have a DVX and it's certainly better than a VX2k but honestly I wouldn't go SD at this point. It's hardly an upgrade.
 
yeah its still a really nice camera, and it doesnt matter what you think i already have 2 offers both over 1250$. this camera gets super good colors, and really nice quality, theres a reason it was 3000 because its really good. its not like the camera got way worse and you need to lowball. people spend over 1000$ on vx1000s and those are 15+ yrs old.
 
Man, thats about how much a used DVX costs these days. A vx2k in good condition alone isn't worth more than about $1,000. Sorry.

Good luck on making that $$$. I still prefer my DVX100b over many high definition cameras.
 
i have a dvx100a on the way to my house and i need this sold. the lens is 250$ the other lens is 200$ the cam is really good condition1000$ and the bag and all accesories i see as like another 150$

thats 1600.....
 
Yes, but the point I was trying to make is that you can't sell used gear for retail. You just can't. That's how much it costs new, but it isn't new. It may be in good shape, but it isn't new. One reason this matters, as I'm sure you're aware, is because of how many hours are on the heads. Plus, there isn't the possibility of factory glass, which means the lenses aren't worth retail.

I mean, my DVX100b + lenses +accessories retails at $4100, and would get about $1500 for it all in a fair sale.
 
i realize what you mean about selling for retail, and this is in no way like that. the only reason why i am saying that is to show you what retail would be. vx2000s retailed for 3000$. the opteka lens that i have posted is brand new, i only used it a couple times, and yes i realize that decreases value. im thinking though that with all the stuff given in this nice little package it should be at least worth 1250 shipped, considering shipping will be around 40.
