"This camera is even more compact than other DSLRs yet remains easy to handle. There is only about 400 shutter actuations on this camera. It was primarily used for filmmaking. The GH1 is great for slow motions shots since it can shoot 24,30 and 60fps. Unlike the Canon DSLRs, this camera has almost no moire and aliasing. This is essential for shooting textures and patterns. This is one of the GH1's that can potentially be hacked for better image quality."

850 is a perfectly reasonable price with that lens. The kit with the 14-42 lens still goes for 800 on amazon, and the 14-140 is worth about 500 dollars more.

I believe that as if recently, they found a way to hack the newer models, I thought i saw someone refer to it as a gh17 (this would be a gh13 if hacked). Regardless, it is a very nuce camera, and the quality that you can get out of it is insane. I have a gh2, and another cool thing is that you can adapt virtually any lens to fit this camera. free bump

and @baba... you posted a link to body only, on some sketch websites. gh1 + 14-140 for 850 is a great deal, the 14-140 isn't a cheap lens.

you might have already known that, i was just correcting you because from your post it sounded like you also believed that ML removes aliasing and increases frame rate.
