For Sale: Look ZR5

Very similar to the Look Pivot Series, I got these binders on a pair of the blue concepts Dynastar made before they started making the troublemakers. I am not sure if this is the year they came out or not. They are missing 3 screws which a good shop should give you for free if you get them mounted and both breaks are broken. (The tongs that stick into the snow when your heel releases, one is broken on each side so it is like half a brake.) The brakes should still work though. Other than the brakes these bindings seem to still be solid. The DIN goes from 8-18 so you wont have to worry about prerealesing if you have your DIN high enough. Looking for at least $120

more pictures upon request, my phone memory is currently full but if you want to see more i can erase some pics and put more up

i'm interested a little steep for missing some screws and being used. how about 75?? i could buy new fks for around 180, for 60 dollars more

$120 is way too much for 5 year old bindings, that look really beat up. Sorry to bash your sale, but my GF paid 110$ for brand new FKS 120s on here a few months ago. A fair price for those is around 70$ shipped.

Careful as you may have a hard time finding shops to mount those. I rock ZR18's and have to have it as a favour to get em done up. With busted brakes they may not even do it at all

probably true with some shops but my shop said they would mount them and replace the brakes no problem

everyone knows its 40 for two new basepate assemblies from dynastar (in fact you were asking in a different thread), they take forever to get too. Not too too long but you won't be skiing on these in february.

Some shops will mount them but no shop will binding release test them.

I had some brand brand new fks, but I bent the brakes to fit around my BC's and they would not test them, but they did mount them, about a 1/2 inch off the ski!

What has the din been at for all these years? Are the springs even good?

i haven't used them since 05 and the din has been at like 9 or 10 since them so not much pressure on the springs. i just figured that most people skiing alot of park wouldnt care about the brakes

wow your smart. brakes dont matter if you ride park?

a lot of mountains will kick you off the mountain if you do not have brakes. its very dangerous. plus you could loose a ski very easily in the woods.

hey bro i don't know how smart you are but you obviously read can't my description. they have functional brakes. they are just broken on one side meaning the brake would stop the ski but the ski would slide at an angle to a stop rather than stop flat on the ground. I would know i used them this way for several months and i have seen many other people skiing the park with brakes in similar condition

ill give ya 40$... Thats the most youll get out of these busted old ass binders....

When rossi brings back the fks heel in a few years when they finally fix the mold, these will be worth 10$...

unfortunately with these bindings to replace the brake you must replace the entire base plate (the part of the heel peice that mounts to the ski) and dynastar owns look so i'm pretty sure they operate as one company

wow i think that everyone shouldnt worry about bashin this thread. if u dont like em dont buy em. fuck is it so hard for ns to understand that. everyone needs to quit with all this. these r nice bindings and good quality who cares how scuffed or broken they are. if they function then it doesnt matter. bump for kip hes legit and wouldnt rip anyone off.

well the reason i asked is i'm ridin fks and cracked the plastic piece plus one of my brakes is slightly messed up. fks are the same as look but i was told i'd need to warrenty the entire thing and they'd send me the new px crap.

are they older fks, did you crack the half circle plastic plate under the back two heel piece screws? I wouldnt worry about it, maybe go to your local ski swap and look for part bindings but the crack wont affect the riding

did not mean to hijack a thread......... yup thats what i'm talking about. the crack is purely cosmetic. does not effect it really but it is decent sized and i was gonna remount them soon so...... i was more worried about the breaks and yes i've been scavenging swaps and shit they're just hard to come by

bump, i bought some old looks from a NSer and they are sick...never had a problem with them yet... i think mine are like a year newer than LMP's but i have seen his in person and they look beat up but its all cosmetics.....look is good shit period...
