So....I guess I still am not 100% on selling these skis.

I really really really want to love them, but they are just too short for what I want as an everyday ski.

So...sadly I think I am going to sell them.

About the skis...

184cm (although the really are tip-tail 182cm)

130/105/120

Extremely beefy construction. As beefy, if not more so, than igneous.

These are very stiff too. Explosive stiff. Let me say it again...skis are stiff. They like to go fast.

Camber - these skis have basically no camber. Really they have a few small rocker in the tip and tail. Like a cm.

Condition - basically brand new. They need a grind and they will be 100% perfect. Hardly any topsheet scuffs and bases are in great shape. Only issues are a few flat spots and such that come along with handmade skis.

Bindings - Salomon s916s ZZlabs....din 9-16 obviously.

These are just normal s916s with a metal strip that is supposed to help the bindings while the ski flexes....honestly they are no different than normal s916s.

Mounted at midsole for 301mm boot. About a cm of movement in each direction.

I paid $780 for the skis and s916s are worth a fair bit too.

I will sell this whole set for ~$800 + shipping.

Basically...you are get customs skis with free s916s.

this is more of a test run....

I doubt there are many here actually interested in them.

When I am really serious about selling them I will put them on TGR....

seriously.....like I said. Explosive stiff at least. I would LOVE to see someone butter these. The ski would rape you.
 
I feel $800 is fair for customs with s916s.

I think $850 is too...but it is just $50 more. whatever.

and the topsheet...

It is a wood veneer with a clear coating over it.

The skis core doesn't look like that....
 
if these were how I expected them to turn out...i would be 1 ski away.

Now I am atleast 2.

185 kwood midfat extra

192 DP Lotus 138 Flex 2

and, possibly...

186 Capital BMT or 190 Igneous LG or FFL, or 185 Igneous FFGS or 185 Kwood Fat extra....

but we shall see. I need to get rid of these and get the midfats and l138 first
 
where do you get the money to support your quiver quest??? cause man..if i had 800 dollars i would jump on your el jefes
 
I worked 45 hours a week all summer, under the table, for my dad at a venture capital firm.

I am super broke now.

Kwoods will be bought with the capital money.

Dps will probably get put on credit card.

and.....I dont know about the rest. Like I said...DISTANT future...
 
Fuck that is a pretty damn good deal. However I am broke. And idealy I would have the BMT over the El Jefe. But yeah, I doubt you'll find many buyers here.

honestly...I bet they would do fine. These things are pretty beefy. Edges are pretty big.

The core is 2x as thick as my seth pistols are gotamas

I would love to see someone pick up a $800 urban ski...
