FOR SALE: $15 Million Dollar Ski Home in Whistler

Haha yes!

Can I hand drag across the kitchen counter... Pleeeaaasssee??

Imagine if everyone on newschoolers did pitch in and buy a house. Obviously not a 15million dollar one, but a nice house somewhere. We could put a giant NS logo on the side and everything. I feel like the cops would be constantly called down to it though. Whatever, it would be worth it.

Why does it have stupid words on the walls like " PLAY " "EAT "NAP". I dont need my house telling me what to do

for all we know Sweaty_Balls here could be super rich like he says, but I'm just curious if he could come up with some conformation. I don't think anyone would be asking if it wasn't for his many claims. just show us a picture of one of your many houses, or that gigantic chalet with 7 toilets you were bragging about in the other thread, or your porsche, or anything! not to be a douche, just because he gets shit on everytime he brings it up and if people didn't disbelieve him then I'm sure life in the forums would be much easier for him.

This.

I like to participate in a forum with somewhat real people. I try to be real at least. I don't actually care if this dude is rich or not, I just don't like sifting through lies and far-fetched stories. I kind of see it as spamming the forums. As I said before, I would be stoked if this guy proved me wrong, it would add a cool perspective to the forum, but trying to get verification from the corner of two pictures with a name tag on it is not verification. If this guy is as rich as he says he is then it should be no problem to verify.

Super funny. I dont live in a house like that. I live in a one bedroom in mammoth. The house I posted is in belaire which I imagine to be the same price as whistler. And yes I lived in a loft that big. I was house sitting for a friend in downtown la. I also house sat in a 2mill house in hollywood once. Its fun. That being said, I was being facetious.

No thank you...

I'm not sure what Property taxes and costs are in Canada, but they're gonna be through the roof with that place - not to mention, the utility bills will come in by the truckload.

Give me a modest Aframe cabin and I'll be stoked.

Meh even if I had that kind of money to spend on a house I wouldn't buy something like that. I would honestly rather have a cute, warm little cottage up in the mountains somewhere. Houses that big are not homey or inviting, and they're a pain to take care of. I know a lot of people like to show off the sizes of their dicks by having expensive/huge homes, but it's just not my style. If I HAD to spend that much money, I'd still buy a small house but with a shit ton of land so no one could build ugly developments near me and ruin my view.

All that said, that house is still fucking boss. Recognize.

That's pretty much exactly how I feel.

I'd buy a sweet little spot on maybe a couple acres so I could build the most banger backyard terrain park on the planet...

You're saying 325 sqm for four people is not huge...?

Dude, you're in need of a serious perspective check.

Maybe in Finland, but here its not exactly unheard of.

And I don't really see the need for a perspective check, I would be (and have been) perfectly happy living in a small house, but my parents decided they wanted to invest some of their hard earned money into a nice house, I don't really see anything wrong with that.

Nah. Some people are just used to that.

I grew up in a smaller one story ranch style house, and I was fine with that... but my neighbors in houses twice as big thought my house was this tiny little shithole and mocked me for it... But I also had a 2nd house in Tahoe, so fuck em.

Some people just need a fat pad - especially here in the states.

Obviously not, but usually it works that way - someone downplaying something grander for not being as grand, hence influencing a check on reality/perspective from others.

remember when everyone was bashing me for asking him to post a picture of him with his porsche or a sign with his newschoolers name next to it so we could confirm it was his..... oh ya he never posted anything..

Yeah i guess it wasn't worded perfectly, what i meant was that in the "category" that house would be in, it is not really that big. Some similar houses here are 6000+ sq ft. (~550+ sq m)

My guess is he's just trolling. Think about it, if you had those properties and all the stuff he describes, I would be quick to post pictures of it just to show off even. He always posts extravagant, clothes/cars and everything but has no way to prove it. I honestly don't see the point of what he's doing. Just seems like he's wasting time to me.

Why not be real on the internet? I always am, and I don't see why I wouldn't be.

sick house but I expected a lot more for 15 million just bc I underestimated the value of Whistler's real estate

who cares if some kid on a ski site's dad makes a lot of money

good thing about this is that the seller is going to give the proceeds to charity

bad thing is he's the former chairman of Citi bank so this is just a drop in the bucket in his quest towards some sort of redemption

Label on the desk chair i'm sitting on right now.

Label of the overcoat that's haning on my chair atm.

^ That does not even come close to verifying your prior claims. I don't have multiple million dollar places but I do have a $3000 suit. That proves absolutely nothing.

This comes closer to around 8000 euros, it's a bespoke Corneliani overcoat.

Chair is roughly 2500 euros.

There is a reason I'm not posting pics of the properties my parents own.

Peopel will find out who I am.

Some people are just richer then others.

Face it, i'm the 1%.

OMGEEEE IM SOOOOO EXCITEEEDD!!!

but for real it is super sick that you ride, ya i creeped your profile, but you need to buy a kawi!!!

and sweaty balls, we need picture of the porsche, that is the only way you can actually verify your claims, other than that it is obvious you are full of shit

I agree, if you post the Porsche it won't give away who you are or anything like that. I'll believe all of your other outrageous claims.

sweaty_balls,

If you're so wealthy, buy me some new park skis. Seriously this is my third season on the same boards.

Sincerly,

First off, it's probably 15 million CAD... which is... not far off of the USD, but still, that little difference makes a huge difference 15 million times later.

Second off, this is fucking Whistler. It's goddamned one of the most expensive places to live in Canada, if not the entire goddamned continent. This isn't even remotely the most expensive house in the land. A house like that is pretty damn big in Whistler.

Lastly, where's that 11.5k sqft house located? If it's in Texas or Nevada or some bullshit flat/hot place nobody wants to really live in, then it doesn't count.

haha the house is in Bel air.. as in Beverly Hills.. as in one of the most expensive places to live in the US.

And I posted that as a joke... not sure why people took it so seriously.

I share a 1 bedroom apartment with another girl who gets way more sex in it than I do... It's not like im living big or anything.

In Bel Air, you don't have to install heated garages and driveways. Nor do you have to install snowshield roofing or freezeproof piping.. The house is probably not made with the same sort of quality in mind - It's California - You really don't need a lot of the same building quality expenses. Bigger does not mean more expensive...

...and back to that CAD vs USD thing. lol. Find a house, in Canada, that's just as expensive, and bigger, with the same build qualities. Then I'll be impressed =)
