For everyone who says how snowboarders are more creative then skiers

Go out and do something abut it! Take inspiration from the videos that you see and get creative in the urban scene. I know that this winter now that I can drive I will be out there on late nights trying to find something new and inventive to do.

I just see too many people posting "I wish skiers were as creative as snowboarders" or "Snowboarders are way ahead of us in the urban" and although that may be true it can easily be changed. If people just drop the mentality that snowboarders will always be more creative I am sure that we would see some crazy cool stuff coming from skiers.

So please stop bitching on the internet and get out there and change it.
 
Well he just gave you an idea on how to change that. Fair enough if you cant or wont do it, but don't say it can't be done.
I'm with definitely with this, i always try to think up creative shit. I must admit i am quite limited by my shitty skills, but at least i give it a try!
 
I hear ya dude, this year I'm going to hit up as much urban as I can around campus with snow from our ice rink...so stoked!

but that can also be an advantage. i.e. bindsouls, hippy killers(don't really see on urban though), one footers, cleaner nose/tail taps
 
tight pants urban is a trend in snowboarding right now, and there are few dozen groups of like ten non pro kids who all are best friends and spend all there time in the winter hitting urban rails and jibs all, while i know of very few groups of skiers who will do that, and they are mostly scandanavian and canadian. Everyone else would rather spend all there time getting hyphy on some dumb ass box and complain how it is easier to do urban on a board.
 
What i also feel that people dont realize is that snowboarders kill stuff just like we do(over doing stuff). Every snowboard edit/movie i see 90% of them dress hesh as fuck get some diversity. Majority of the urban is creative but its the same jump into wallride or rail to wallride. Thats cool but it gets old shot after shot. Mix stuff up.

grab variety on a snowboard is literally half that of on skis
