i'm not one to rub it in people's faces, but rox fans were so cocky going into this game and they got their shit stomped. i think it would be a completely different story if the rockies didn't have such a long break before the series. i was hoping we'd lose tonight so that it could be a more interesting series, whether we won or lost. i respect the rockies as a team, they surprised everyone with their playing at the end of the season, and i really would not have been upset if they had won. way to go guys, making it this far.

sitting in my room studying, i knew exactly when the sox won. when people started screaming and pouring out into the streets of boston. great win for the sox, congrats!!! GO SOX!!!!
 
you are a prime example of the no class, no sportsmanship red sox fan that make everyone besides the red sox fans hate the sox. i like the sox, not their fans.
 
no fuck it all the rockies fans were ridiculously cocky going into the series and they just got worked, i'm going to gloat about this one on NS for days because it feels that good, sorry i eat sleep and breathe red sox baseball and that's how it is
 
nah he's got you on this one, you do have no class.   i have respect for the team and most the fans, but a good number do nothing but constantly rub shit in peoples faces and make the dumbest claims.

And to your first statement.  The rockies still had a very good season.  If anything there will be way more support for the team.  I'm stoked to see what this team is capable of next year.

cocky? i really thought the rox had a chance of sweeping the series. coming in from how hot theyw ere and how solid their pitching and hitting going i really thought we had a good chance of the sweep. oh well were gonna have another good season next year

well this just reaffirms my hatred of all things red sox. you called us cocky, yet we just supported our team and hoped we would win, perhaps optimistically. you were just as cocky as were were, and now you shove your victory in our faces. i am still proud that the rockies made it as far as they did, even if they did get swept. and yes, i have skiied a few days this year already.
 
Ill take my 10 days riding already in the west than living in New england where the snow last for like 3 hours before the wind blows it off into the sky

 
no actually i was pretty damn worried about the sox vs. rox series seeing how hot the rockies were coming into the series, i wasn't calling for a sweep by the sox, i was actually hoping it'd come back to fenway, however, for the second time in 90 years, there will be no broken hearts in boston

I can sit on my ass and watch a World Series baseball game when I am 90. Can I ski when I'm 90? Most likely not. I want to go skiing.
