Utterly useless thread, so Il hijack it.
This dumb ass video called "this video produces oxygen" has been making the rounds on social media and does nothing but make people on their phones feel good and like they have done something.
When you watch this video what actually happens is your phone, router, and datacenter all use electricity produced by burning coal. Sure its a tiny amount but likely offsets their promise that they will plant a tree for every 1000 likes. Also a singular tree being planted does fuckall in the grand scheme of things. Close to 300 million trees were lost in the fortmcmurray fires up in Alberta. Stupid video cant touch that. /rant
