so i play the guitar, but I'm not very good. I play easy but fun stuff to just to screw around like blink 182, sum 41, fade to black by metallica stuff like that so does anyone have some suggestions of sweet songs that are fun to play yet not too hard to learn thanks ns!
 
I find myself playing "Black Magic Woman" by Santana a lot, but not on easy. My skills are crazy, I play on medium.

Va Halen, AC/DC, more Metallica, Ozzy Osbourne just to name a few.
The sweet child o mine solo isnt that hard, it just takes practice. The only hard part is memorizing it.
 
i've been playing pretty heavily for a few months now and i'm getting really into it. early on, i beat cliffs of dover on hard and i find myself gravitating towards ruby, knights of cydonia, black magic woman, jessica, and sweet child o mine. my suggestion is keep up the persistence. don't put that kramer striker wireless guitar down and play the game like it's real
 
I'm guessing you play electric? I'm WAY more into acoustic personally, so my taste might be a bit different, but I'd say to just screw around with different basic chords and finger picking and stuff, because it all sounds really sick. If you like to sing, I really recommend looking up simple acoustic songs to sing with, because that's a blast.

Heartbeats by Jose Gonzalez is fucking difficult because of the speed, but if you slow it down enough it turns into a good song to work on your finger picking/finger placement in general.

I've been playing guitar for a while now... i play mostly metal(core) on my elec (TBDM, JFAC ect.) and random stuff on my acoustic. I don't really remmember what kind of easy--medium songs i learnt when i was there. Actually these were some songs i knew couple years ago:

Afi -leaving song part 2 (first whole song i learnt)

metallica - four hoursemen (you were playing metllica so) dont remmeber how hard that was to learn

megadeth - sweating bullets (i like these guys better than metallica solo may be hard but its simple just fast so its do-able by anyone with enough practice)

opeth - patterns in the ivy

opeth patterns in the ive part 2 (i can still play these two today)

The first minute or so of:

Between the Burried and me - Laser speed (jazzy latinish , ... This is a sick song to learn. I'm not nearly as good at acoustic so i dont't know what difficulty this is, but i think its easy/medium, and its a very sexy song to play)

true haven't looked at scores or tabs but from listening playing that stuff's gotta be sick, well i guess any thing that techy/mathy is gonna be

its all taps and mad fun to play

also learn a lot of incubus
 
im learning under the bridge by red hot chilli peppers, its a good electric and acoustic song.
