For any rising high school seniors...

There's so many mntains near by Burlington though. Stowe And skiffs are pricy but there's bolton jay mad river sugarbush...

Before I say this I have not disrespect for Pennsylvania or the East Coast.

Wait....I'm confused.....why wouldn't you stay in Montana and get in-state tuition at MSU or UM if your passion is skiing?

jesus christ.

i will make sure to never even look at this school because if there are more people like you there i would never want to go.

You're a fucking asshole.

Everyone needs to stop giving my school shit because you have no idea what it's like. I don't care what you've heard. I made a thread to let some seniors know about a school that I really like. I wish someone reached out to me earlier and let me know about Nova. I wasted my time and energy applying to so many schools when this one was here all along. They gave me an incredible scholarship/financial aid, they have so much spirit and a kick-ass basketball team, and despite what you've heard, the people are so down to earth. NOT TO MENTION YOU GET A TERRIFIC EDUCATION which ultimately is what college is for.

Give me a break, I was stoned... of course I'm gunna be happy about ripping a bong when I'm stoned.

Go away, i am a highschool senior. I haven't heard anything about the school ever, didnt even know it even existed and still dont care because i dont want to go to some roman catholic school in PA. Also this thread just looks like you bragging about how cool your university is because mommy and daddy finally let you off the leash and you got drunk at a college party and ripped a bong for the first time. There are loads of previously sheltered college freshmen all around the country that are having the same thoughts right now after their first week of debauchery.

^thats fine, i have no idea who you are and never will ever. I was just making generalizations about you on the internet because of an obnoxious thread you made

Attention Upcoming Seniors:

Don't go to college right after school. Take a year off. Get a shitty job and have some fun.

Did you know school get's exponentially cheaper when you turn 24? Do you know what you actually want to do? Do you even know yourself?

I graduated from school a few weeks ago and my only regret is going to school right after highschool.

Think about it... if you're not getting debt from student loans, you're not gaining obligations. The economy sucks right now and most kids graduate and move back in with their 'rents.

Sorry to rain on your parade. I thought college was the shit my first week too... I learned a lot, had a lot of booze, slayed a lot of dragons, and could have NOT wasted a couple years trying to figure out my career path...

I've been there, done that. All colleges are cool. They are all fun. But guess what? there is no hurry to go to one.

That's some shit your high school teachers won't tell you, your parents don't know, and that sadly, you'll figure out 2 or three years into paying for a bunch of bullshit you'll get for almost free if you wait a few years and enjoy your youth.

But I'm just a recent college graduate. You don't have to listen to me.

you sound just like 90% of freshman after the first week. Your school isn't some incredibly rare super school, its just college. I've visited my good friend at nova plenty of times and sure its pretty cool, but the party scene is pretty lame for a big private school like that.

Yes college is fun, no need to make a thread on it

This. Almost every freshman is stoked their first week. The dorms are awesome, people are everywhere, eating the dorm food is the best thing ever, the parties are nuts everyone is all stoked to get wasted etc...

After the first semester or earlier you'll get jaded and the camus environment calms down.
