okay so I've been on accutane for 6 months because around October of grade 10 my acne started getting really bad both on my face and on my back! I have 30 days left of the treatment and don't have a single pimple on my skin! my skin is supper clear and accutane has done things for me no creams or other treatments ever did! although there are a few negatives your skin becomes supper dry and sensitive even just scratching the dry skin results in red marks and scratches also your lips get chapped to fuck and chapstick barely helps you bassicly have to live looking like a freak for the whole time while on accutane . I also experienced back pain when I worked out. and my self asteem is way way down to the point where I barely talk to girls anymore other then a few close friends. I haven't really wheeled a girl since September because after that my acne got bad and then accutane and awfull looking skin happened. I full out lost the girl I had a thing going with I havn't talked to her in months and she got picked up by another guy who I'm sure will ask her out any day now.

anyway my accutane is almost over and it did wonders for me . it's get worse before better but that's the price you have to pay! so if your a healthy individual who eats vegetables and is active and wants rid of acne I definitely recommend it.

I posted because I know alot of you guys are teenagers with the same acne problems I have and I wanted to help!

I took it...It worked wonders for me, as well. I've heard some serious things about liver and blood problems, but I never had an issue. It does dry your skin, but just use moisturizer you dingus. If you can take it and have no other options, it's sick. Just don't get pregnant while youre on it or you'll give birth to a bunch of mongoloids.
 
or just have acne, wheel harder.no but seriously good for you getting rid of that shit
 
Fucked up my sister. It literally changed her perception of taste for YEARS. Everything tasted different. My brother was fucked up from it too. It cleared it out, but the side effects were so bad from both my siblings there was no way in hell I was going to try it.
 
I was on it for 6 months but it worked really well for me so I didn't have to keep increasing my doses and fuck myself. To prevent the dry lips, put vasaline on before bed then just keep Chapstick with you and your golden! Haven't had any acne since.
 
I used it and it was fantastic. I heard it was recalled though?

...regardless it's NOT for everyone whatsoever. There are some legit horror stories I've heard.

...for any of those who have used it, if you didn't use this, then I feel bad for you.

Even though I've stopped it, I still have dry skin, especially lips, nose and elbows for some reason. I lost my self-esteem while going through it as well, but now that I'm done it, I'm slowly getting it up higher and higher.
 
Had it for 3 months. Worked perfectly for me. I tried everything before it and nothing seemed to work. The only thing I noticed was dry skin. My nose got dry and I had a few bloody noses. Aquaphor or petroleum jelly fixed that though. Also I had to carry around chapstick for dry lips. That was a year ago and I am still acne-free!
 
Beware of Ulceratve Colitis. There have been class action law suits against accutane. Only take this drug if you really need it
 
Took a nice heavy dosing of Accutane for about 7-8 months. Dried my lips, nose, face the fuck out for most of the time. Now I just have really dry lips but my face is acne free and it is so worth it.

As long as you don't have mental problem accutane is a God send if nothing else is working.
 
I'm in the last month of my treatment of accutane and it has worked WONDERS I had really big cysts over a lot of my face that nothing took care of but within two months of starting accutane they have all disappeared. The only real side effects I've had were the dry skin and lips but as someone mentioned earlier all you have to do is buy a good stick of chapstick and some lotion and you'll be fine. As for the mental side of things, I have actually felt more balanced and less depressed throughout the treatment which can be most likely be attributed to an increase in self esteem. Overall i would recommend this medicine to anyone who truly needs it, it has worked wonders for me and a few of my close friends and it can do the same for you.
