For all you who questioned about the '07 '08 spk boot

Yes They do have brown leather on the outside of them, a bunch of people had them on at the open. They look pretty sweet if you ask me, a lot better than just white.
 
ya but everyone was saying they were fake, like a mix between a saloman snowboard boot and a spk
 
ya and they are coming out with a women's SPK boot, which is sick. same as men's SPK but built better for a woman's size foot
 
I LOVE how wide they are, I just HATE how soft they are. I wish someone made a super wide, super stiff boot.
 
i heard two things about the blue ones. one was tht its for girls and the the other one is that is had less features or something as the other ones.
 
blue one is not for girls, the one in the upper right with the white buckles is

the blue one is the SPK Kreation which is a cheaper version of the SPKs

and tanakaskier, the promodel spk has a stiffer flex
 
no actually i hav a wide ass fucking foot. my foot cannot fit into most langes even though langes are getting better as far as fit and my 1080 boots, which are narrower then the spks, had to punch them out on the shell. so no you couldnt be more wrong on that. the boot is made wider on purpose so its easier to land shit in the park - this is straight from a salomon rep i talked to about it at my shop and ive talked to people who hav complained about the width as well. dont get my wrong the boots a great idea but its too fuckin wide thats for sure. what a shame.
 
those leather ones were the original spk boot, but they decided to not release it last year and went with the all white/black design.
 
^ I emailed salomon an they said that the spk kreations are going to retail for about $435, werent they suppose to be cheaper?
 
spk is made outta shit material. the tightening thing on the string breaks, the boots plastic has like ultra easy freeze plastic, has super uneven flex
 
i have yet to find a boot i like. i heard the solamon pro models were really nice. i hear full tilt boots are pretty awesome too
 
yea idk the full tilt boots look kinda like Rampages but they look kind of sketchy. But if they work than sweet.
 
the foil boot was pointless. basically it was an x-wave six with a slightly better liner. since the x-wave line up is gone for next year, i believe foil boot has been discontinued. if not, it will resemble the new impact boot; heel hold like the falcon but volume like the x-wave. gonna be dope

 
know your roots son. the rampage is designed to work similarly to the the old raichle flexon boot (full tilt [k2] boot). full tilt boots are the same molds as the raichles, but they're using better lines and other updated materials. i like my rampages a lot more than the SPK when i tried it out. i realize that the SPK is supposed to be wider so you can articulate your toes and whatnot, but the boot is just built pretty poorly. take the liner out; there's no solid bootboard for the liner to rest on. the rampages work just as well for park riding, and ski much much better.
 
the promodel ones (the converse looking spks) have that gel stuff in the heel, in the toes as well, they are gonna be amazing boots!
 
^ o sry. Im just trying to find a good pair of boots for my foot. have a wider foot an i have rampages an they are to narrow for me.
