im looking to get more into wakeboarding. i have a board that is about 10 years old. im looking for an intermediate board to advance my skills on although i am still a beginner. meaning i can get up easily, make turns, get minimal air. im about 5'7 and around 170 lbs.

boards i was looking at:

^^this seems like a good deal but i question the sizes would the 134 be too small and the 141 be too big?

please help! any suggestions regarding those boards or others you think would fit what im looking for.
 
141 will probably be alittle big for you. i would look for somthing like 135ish or 137. my friend has an cwb absolute and loves it. i havent heard much about the other boards you mentioned tho

 
obrien oasis w/ switch bindings would work well, 137 cm too

You need to decide if you want a continuous or 3 stage, then you can go through boards. I would suggest Liquid Force.
 
I ride the LF Substance and it is really nice. Definitely get CWB bindings though, the hinge tech is the best thing in the world. Any of the liquid force's you mentioned are solid, although i would stay away from the fish. And at 170lbs...i would suggest 140 or 141.
 
Get liquid force, the fish is good I think. You probably want 137, and get a continuous rocker, continuous rocker is essential.
 
3 stage rocker has very agressive release off the wake. Great for going big, but can be unpredictable and too agressive for intermediate riders.

Continuous a lot easier, will help make you a better rider.
 
I'm just learning to, about the same level.I have a hyperlite state... its a subtle 3 stage rocker, so it is sort of a crossover between the two. it was a little hard to get used to, but i feel pretty used to it now and i can fuck up a jump and still land alright... my boat sucks for the record.
 
if u get 140 or above itll be like boarding on the K2pontoons. get something shorter so then you can maneuver it around better
