Well this year i am purchasing an old tri-pod snow maker from my MTn.

My dad has a 185 CFM diesel air compressor. it like 8 feet. its huge.

We also ave water pumps because we are sewer contractors.

How many GMP do i need and some tips on making snow.

I will post pictures next weekend of the gun

depends on the gun. May only need 10 to20 gpm, but the key is probably going to be getting that flow at 250 to 300 psi. like I said though it will depend on what the gun is. if your using well water your going to have warm water issues until you get very cold air temps. Higher the pressure the better, and colder the water the better. With the pressure correct you can put as little water to it as you want and increase the water flow as it gets colder.
 
That should work better for you then. Try to keep the ice off the pond so the water keeps cooling and you'll probly do alright.
