For all the Wakeboarders out there i found this to be quite the interesting read! For some reason i get a kick out of the Open and Closed toe binding arguments. As for me, I am a fan of Closed Toe bindings. Gotta love my Ronix One Bindings!

On a different note i am really looking forward to trying some of the new flex boards, especially the Phoenix Project by Ronix! Paired with the new Hyperlite system binding its gotta be blast in the parks!

 
Nothing beats closed toe, IMO. I've ridden both pretty extensively and the response and stability I get from a closed toe boot cannot be matched by any open toe binding. Not to mention, you can't shove your entire foot through a closed toe boot. I've had to cut a pair of bindings off before because I landed hard on heels and sent my foot through the binding all the way up to about mid shin.
 
I am a closed toed person myself, for one my lake is SUPER cold so the water wont slip into my feet, and the closed toe boots seem to keep my stance better if that makes sense. whats really fun is wakeskating.
