This. I play HS lax right now and am natural lefty defense. Im almost to the point where I can be ambidextrous but I need some more work righty after a broken collarbone + surgery last season. Speed and stick skills is the name of the game man. If you want to go places, work on both of those and then you are set.

Yup. You have to be completely ambidextrous to play any level of college lacrosse at this point. I would say the high level D1 kids in my area were like this in their early middle school days. Stick skills and foot speed, like you said.
 
ah man that really brought me back. played lax for a while a long time ago. Nice tape. But yeah the above posters are right, you need a crazy good off-hand for college play. I was always fucking trash with my left hand.

Going down for the 5th year in a row. It's such a good time. Always good weather, fun young crowd, great tailgating, and obviously some amazing lacrosse.
 
Fuck Maryland.

Glad to see UNC win, even thought they beat Notre Dame. Pretty inspiring story this year plus one of their starting attackmen is a local kid. Cool to see him repping my area on the big stage.
 
if my 6 years of lax have taught me anything its that you could be the worst player on the team but people will still think you're really good if you have long hair
 
played till college at x, damn watching the tape makes me miss it so much. one of my bros would make a cut and i'd just hook them up from x with and boom...ahhh miss that shit
 
like others have said, work your left. also, if i were a goalie, i would guess 99% of the time you're shooting stick side high on the run. if I were playing defense on you, i would force you left down the alley every time as well. you've got good wheels on clears and your defense is good, but imho, nothing special offensively. I'd work on your footwork and overhand shot. you've got the 1on1 all day man. start taking shorties behind and moving from x. recruits want to see a well rounded player, not just a shooter from the top. hope you take this well, not trying to be a dick.
