For all of you who say rollerblading is gay

yes but its also called in-line for a reason...roller blades and rollerskates refer to those ghetto 80's skates...or go with bristolriders name of 'nonaligned'
 
i get what your saying, im just used to hearing/saying it.. and idk, doesnt being a rollerblader sound better? i like being known as a rollerblader. idk what inliner or skater would feel like.
 
there are alot of gay rollerbladers in the parks, expecially those little kkids who suck and just shit talk about everyone else... they also tuck their shirts, which they dont change atall.

Howeever, it is PARK rollerblading, which i personally dislike. On the other hand, there is street rollerblading which gay/little/stupid/ugly/shittalking kids just dont have balls to do! thats what i do and i havent met one single guy who will be an ass in this sport. they all are really cool people. The mood in the streets is totally different from the park. Skaters and bladers are trying to have fun and hit some much bigger features that can not be found in the park. I rollerblade and i have to say that i think alot of rollerbladers who skate in the park are pretty damn retarded. But the rollers who i skate with in the street are my best frieds.
 
^tottally agreed. but when you do get to go to a really nice skatepark, its a lot of fun. skating street is awesome and having the occasional skatepark thrown in there can be an awesome experience too..
 
that first video was illllll... i used to blade a ton a few years back but i've been out of the game for a while, i think ill strap the skates on again sometime soon. look if you're one of those people who don't like rollerblading for one reason or another, that's fine as long as you respect the talent it takes to be that good, that's all there is to it...
 
i think its pretty dumb for people to talk so much shit about other sports, i do agree that rollerblading can be pretty gay in some ways, but it all depends on who, where, and what is done, like when i go to the skatepark, most of the rollerbladers are just pussys that im probably better than, then if you see people doing urban type stuff it gets like 10 times better.

i dont rollerblade, i used to play roller hockey, and ive tried it a couple times and i do pretty good, but i just like skateboarding soooo much more, im not dissing rollerblading, im just saying it isnt as fun for me as skateboarding.

the only time i get mad is when people say rollerblading and skiing are pretty much the same, first it isnt they arent the same at all, and doing pretty much any other sport like skateboarding, mtn biking, bmx, snowboarding, can get you better at skiing.

and please stop posting videos trying to get people to like it more, if anything it makes me like it alot less, ive seen mabye like 2 videos that i actually thought were good, all the rest just show people dancing around like crazy, and play gangster rap which makes it look way to serious and no fun. like look at all the new ski trailers and how many of them try to make skiing look hardcore and serious? very few do. so if you want people to like rollerblading more stop posting videos and tell them to go watch someone in real life.
 
from what I know Chris Farmer is not a skier, he rollerblades and skates on rare occasions, therefore, you see him rolling and not skiing.

Honestly dude, rolling does rock, but swearing and talking like a redneck does not help your case. There are dozens of threads like this one that I've taken part in that are much more properly presented. Search those, and don't try to sound hardcore when talkign about it, act a litte more reputable. You won't convince the haters, and honestly, rollers don't want to be as big as snowboarding skateboarding, or fressking, we want to keep our souls.
 
Damn man that kid needs a pair of skis, he could tear shit up in no time. I don't blade but I got nothing but respect for peopple who do and throw down like that. Pretty impressive shit.
 
The problem with rollerblading is it's such a one dimensional sport. I'm not saying its easy to do what they do, far from it. But all I've ever seen in a rollerblading video is rails. Every other sport were grinding rails is done has another aspect to it, snowboarding, skiing, skateboarding, bmx and trials riding they all have more to show. Sure what the blading pros are doing might be "tech" but that just seems to be a name for anything that's hard but doesn't look good.
 
haha thats the first time ive ever seen shit like that, its like taking old school skateboarding, which is pretty much the coolest ever, but adding a whole bunch of gayness to it. i seriously doubt thats what you think skateboarding is, probably him and his sexy friends are the only people who even do that. just admit it when you think of skateboarding you think of awsome coolness and you know its cooler than everything times 10.
 
We do gaps, stairs, disasters, wall rides, rails to wallrides, wallrides to rails, rails to gap, and etc. So dont tell me its one demensional.
 
my thoughts on this topic is : i respect rollerblading and all there crazy techhhy rail trickery and such but personally i think alot of stuff they do really makes it look kind of dumb... example : whenever they cross there legs and slide... this is jes my opiniopn im not attacking the sport but there ya go

Unlike other extreme sports rollers usually consider themselves to be artists of sorts. They use what's around them, and although, yes rollers go to parks, more often they see themselves as creating art by turning a concrete ledge or wall into something more meaningful to them.

Oh, and btw... tricks that invole cross of legs: unities, pornstars, savannahs, etc... look sick
 
ha ha why are you so angry my child it is just an argument. Just because I didn't choose to spell out entire words and use shorten versions I am now a hick. Ask anyone who knows me and they'll tell you that I am the furthest thing from a redneck or any of that, well I am not a hippy so maybe not the furthest but anyway quit dissin on everyone. Like your mom always told me if you have nothing nice to say then son't say anything at all.
