How the hell have u broken them. I bet im bigger than most of you guys and i have never broken a pair. One time i was skiing through powder and i got caught under a log and just slinshoted into the ground and my skis were fine. I don't see how you break your skis. And i pound the shit out of my skis. So how do u guys do it.

 
try overshooting, thats a good way, and rails

Dont rip on him because hes never broken a pair of skis, he just got lucky. I ski the hell out of my skis, theyre a couple years old, they havent broken. Just because youre skis dont break doesnt mean you dont ski hard on them....

 
yeah, and especially cuz he said he skis them really hard on that stuff, pretty lame way to make yourself look like a loser rippin on him, why not read the rest of the post next time.

its just because some poeple are more aggressive and if you live in the east thenyoure gonna break alot more skis because of the ice landings and youre gonna break more edges on rails becuase the rails and youre ski edges are colder

i broke 4 paris last year. snapped one PE and bent 1 PE and 2 skogens. i also ripped off two toe pieces. i am big and aggressive. im 6'2 195. the snapped ski was from a zero spin, the ripped bindings were both from landing backseat flat, and the bent skis were from switch landings and other stuff. i only paid for the skis once, got warrenty all other times. the edges are always fucked. breaking skis sucks.

one time i was hitting a cliff, and under the snow there was a piece of the cliff jutting upwards that i could not see, now i thought that the lip was packed down enough, since a few guys before me had hit the cliff...but i was wrong, my ski tip caught on that rock, and broke the tip of my ski, it also catapulted me forward off of the cliff and i landed on my head 20 feet below....good thing for this utah powder

ya im big and ive never broken a ski. I dont really c y its soooo cool to break skis, all it does is keep you off the slopes and with no money when you have to replace um.

 
i broke 2 pairs of 1080's. one wasn't really broken but my braks stuck when they released and caused the ski to go flying into the woods. no only did salomon replace my broken brake but they also replaced the damaged skis. another pair i cracked the edge on a rail AFTER the 2 year warranty was up but the guy at the shop i bought them from hooked me up and got me a new pair. so i have NOTHING but good things to say for the salomon warranty and the shop in quebec where i bought them, cant remember the name..

I never read anything about it being cool to break skis... or did I miss somthing? it happens, I never even came close to breaking a pair of skis until I moved out west, they take a beating if your on them every day.

and eventually your 4frnts will break.

the edges on the 1080 snaps relly easy when railing... ive broken a pair. and my 910 bindings on those same 1080 are real fucked up. also on my new skis the plate on which the binding is mounted cracked up. and yeah, last year while i was doing a 5 i landed on the back of my ski and the wood cracked up. nothing serious, (old 1080s) i still use them as rail skis.

my tail got fucked up on my tm's a few weeks ago just from the other tail hitting it, and yesterday i ripped out an edge and my base got all kinds of warped and fucked up. my tm's that i got (or pretty much just one ski) are defintaley not bombproof like dynastar claims.

I have broke 3 skis, candide's broke because I hit a rock and I dont know how my 2 pairs of elan amp's have broken but hey they are elans what more can you expect :DDD I ques I just landed too backseat on them...

 
Broke my 1080's 3 times!! Rails, ice, badly built jumps...

Its pretty whack that theyre edge comes off so easy, but dynastar never claimed the TM to be bombproof.

I broke mine form falling off a handrail onto the stairs.
