Last weekend my highschool played its rival and I was lucky enough to be sideline during the action. I created a highlight video showcasing my schools big plays and atmosphere during the game. Let me know your thoughts on it.

Thanks appreciate it. I personally like the song especially since it caters to all ages. I was going to use some rap but didn't want any cursing or anything along those lines. That way the school can show it wherever and little kids won't hear guys talking about sex drugs and cursing every second

Not to be a dick, but I don't think this song caters to all ages at all. It caters to young women, and it's just not that good. Use an instrumental or something, but I'd have to agree that I am not feeling that song choice at all; it's not working. The song doesn't work, becasue the song doesn't pump up your audience. When you are using shots of the crowd, they are extremely excited, and the music is just slow. You have some good shots, and some good highlights for sure! Find a compelling fast paced instrumental and it will be a lot more impactful.
 
This is sick. I am a football photographer for a Division 1 college I go to, and I thought it would be dope to make something like this. Well captured.
 
I don't think the song is bad at all, I think you could choose a better song that's similar, same vibe, slow buildup, big drops, resolution etc. That may not be the favorite music of people on this website, but for a more general audience its much more acceptable and expected.

That being said, I think it's too long. Half way through I thought it was over and then saw i had another minute or two left. Focus on the very best shots, get it down to like 2 minutes and it would be prime IMO. Cut down on the slow building, expand the climate, speed up the resolution.

I was waiting to see if someone would say anything about how long it was. I usually like to keep videos around 3 minutes that way it keeps moving and doesn't get boring. I try to find a good median so that the community who is watching it along with others who don't really like the sport still enjoy it and that way it isn't boring for anybody or too short for others.
 
Appreciate all the feedback. I have deleted the draft from my vimeo account and will be releasing the final tonight sometime around 6 or 7 ET.

Just one last thing, make sure your horizon line is good, Some of the shots, the horizon is whack and it is kinda disorienting.
 
Thanks everyone for the input. I made changes that I felt were the most necessary to make the video that much better. Hopefully I will be able to do this again soon so I can get even more shots and change up the way I go about the video even more.
