I know pete said he wrecked himself on the massive jump at superpark last year in his interview, how come no one has seen footage of it?

What the hell were they doing with a car on the moon?... havent they gone far enough?

oh, youre talking about superpark last year as in 2002. I think that crash was on the step down overshooting and the wone in strike three was somebody over candides giant table and he undershot

it was the stepdown at super park at mammoth. Im not sure if it was in any movies or not, maybe they were not filming because it was his first hit but i know that everything i just said is true.

wow, i am suprised, usually someone knows these gay trivia questions before i can even look. But anyway it was the 2002 superpark, the one McMurray d 9ed like 50 times really smooth. Anyway Peter started from where Simon was hitting it, which wasnt the best idea, he came out and the last thing he saw was him coming over the knoll... he went 170 total, 65 over the landing, completley flat... woke up in a hospital a few days later...

Hey now, lets get things straightened out...

Pete overshot the table his first try, and woke up in the hospital that very afternoon. He probably took it out about 140 (+/-) feet, but came down on his side. I shot a backangle that didn't show much aside from Pete dissappearing over the knoll headfirst. I know Steve Rozendaal shot from the side, and got a pretty solid shot of the crash. It was nasty. McMurray came up short his first try and shattered his ankle, and Sullivan took himself out on it as well. Rory Bushfield and Benchetler killed it with a few 7s and 9s.

the video footy of that is in Superpark the movie (which I have on dvd). It was extremely nasty, and me thinks I would probably have died if I had over shot it like that. Those guys are just amazing...

I remember shawn sullivan wrecked him selfish and then the next day threw a sick 720 of sorts or something like that. but I dont thin the jumps he wrecked on was 170 feet long

No Pete hurt himself this year, a few months before camp. It was at superpark or something. But I dont think it was a 170 foot jump that would be 40 feet bigger than Candides cork 5!

I had heard stories once when I was younger of a guy named Jim attridge who tried a 190 foot in an offpiste area and died. but I think that was just a story I was told to scare me when I was younger

there's more than one shop. like I said it was a story I heard and I know there is one shop in Vernon, its a nice detour spot to hit before you make the trek up the mountain to silver star.

'I wanted to hit this 105-foot STEP-DOWN jump this may at a photo shoot at MAMMOTH. i didnt know where to start at, so i started from where Simon Dumont was starting. it was a bad idea cus he's so small. After i hit the jump, the only thing i remember is looking down, and i was already past the knoll of the landing. the wind grabbed my skis and pushed me foward. i awoke to find myself in the hospitible. I had over shot the landing by 70 feet, landing face and shoulder first. i broke two ribs in my back, bruised my lung, and was knocked out cold for five minutes, coughing up blood. Next time im faced with a jump that big, i'll be a lot more cautious.'
