Food While Skiing

Cliff bars suck. Shit freezes and becomes a workout to chew.

I stick to unfreezables: chocolate bars, trail mix, pb/j sandwiches, beef jerky... Bagels and cream cheese work well too

Pb/j is a fail safe. Can't go wrong. Also, cliff bars aren't that great at room temperature either.

Side note: how much time are you planning to spend in revy this winter?

You guys are fucking savages, I can hardly handle carrying around my cell phone while I ski, let alone a fucking 4 course meal.

For me If its park day (which it almost always is) and im feeling fancy ill bring up the jetboil and maybe a can of soup or chili or some shit, otherwise ill just complain all day til i get home.

cook off diced bacon, remove bacon from pot while leaving fat. Cook popcorn in bacon fat. toast your pecans at 350 for 10 minutes. meanwhile reduce maple syrup until it is quite thick. once it has reduced enough, emulsify some butter into the maple. add the bacon and pecans into the popcorn. pour maple butter mixture over, along with finely ground sea salt and stir well.

This guys takes his pecan maple bacon a little too seriously... Who am I kidding, actually sounds really good.

clif bars, nectarines (taste really good even when frozen), gatorade or clif shot blocks are really good if you're running low on energy, i dont really like granola bars because they hit the bottom of your stomach like a fucking rock and its hard to ski at that point

1)make spaghetti

2)you obviously made too many noodles

3)put noodles in a ziplok bag and bring up skiing

4) munch on da lift

Check your local hills spaghetti policy before you do this

Zip lock bag full of bacon wrapped water chestnuts. There best hot but still respectable served cold out of a jacket pocket

The best is to ski in Canada where there currency is close to worthless and a nice lunch in the lodge costs under 10 bucks US. Its seriously unbelievable how little Im spending on food up here.

French Fries and a can of soda you brought from home if the lodge is overpriced and expensive as fuck.

If you don't want lodge food Id say wait to get something on the drive home from the hill and if you have to have something hold yourself over with a nice frozen snickers bar in your pocket to eat on the lift.

People who always snack on the lift like they are at the movies tend to be weirdos.

Tuna Squares

Take a can of tuna and mix with block of cream cheese. Add some onions and garlic. Take a roll of the Pillsbury crescent rolls. Take two of the roll triangles and make a square out of them. Add a good spoon full of the filling then fold corners into a pouch. Cook at 375 for 12 min then enjoy. Great warm but amazing cold. They are dense and can withstand a crash or two.

Holy tits that's a lot of work. Sounds delicious though
