Food that fills you up quick

I need suggestions on food that fills you up without eating too much. im going hiking and just dont want to pack tons of food.
 
For hiking it's all about fruit and nuts to snack on. Nuts seem to keep hunger at bay really well

For meals go with dehydrated stuff, noodles or specially prepared meals.
 
chocolate bars give you the energy, but they aren't so healthy. Take couple of them and some nuts.
 
Trail mix and beef jerky.

Trail mix has the word trail in it cuz it was designed for hiking. Beef jerky is salty which is good on a hike cuz you sweat alot and need to replace the salt.
 
Snickers are the best candy bars for hiking. They have the choclate and caramel for sugar and then theres the nuts for protien.
 
throat cloggers. just take bread, spread it with penut butter and squish it up into a ball. then eat. you'll be full.
 
only thing you need for camping is oatmeal for breakfast, salamy, cheese and crackers for lunch, and noodle packages for dinner.
 
Yeah definitely oatmeal...not only have I tested this myself, but my biology teacher told me so. And she's smart and stuff.
