FOllow cams in comps?

I'm watching The Arctic Challenge on tv right now, snowboard comp in norway. The jumps are huge, and they are sending skiers with cameras behind every run, and they go off the jumps too.

Do other televised comps do this too? I've never seen it before.

I live 5 minutes away by car! Defineteely a reeaally sick comp and filming was awesome! They had Jon Håtveit doing the follow cams and a reeaally sick cable cam! Anyone know if they use these cable cams for all events? Never really thought about it before..
