Howie Beck, if you can find any of his stuff. Hayden for sure,

Red house painters,

shadowy men from a shadowy planet (not really that folky),

pedro the lion,

leonard cohen

Thank you very much, Mr. Roboto

For doing the jobs that nobody wants to

And thank you very much, Mr. Roboto

For helping me escape just when I needed to

Thank you-thank you, thank you

I want to thank you, please, thank you

The problem's plain to see: too much technology

Machines to save our lives. Machines dehumanize.

The time has come aat last

To throw away this mask

Now everyone caan see

My true identity...

I'm Kilroy! Kilroy! Kilroy! Kilroy

YEAHHHHHHHHHHH!
If you try to search for The Orphans you'll find nothing but cheesy 80's punk music. This song is on their album but is really an Erik Petersen song. He was their guitar player but after they broke up he went on to make folk music under the name Mischief Brew. So search for Mischief Brew

Against Me! kind of suck now, they started doing really generic pop-rock kind of stuff, their first few EP's and first two Albums are really really incredible. One of them is a 6 song acoustic EP, that this song is from.

If you haven't heard Slightly Stoopid's acoustic album its really good!

This band isn't around anymore.
