For next year im thinking of buying the 05/06 foils because my budget isnt that great and i want a good all mountain ski. what are your opinions on these skis?
 
give us some info..weight height...percentages of what ull be skiing (and where), then well give u a real opinion
 
about 70% all mountain 30% park. i am about

5'10" about 150.. i just want a good all moutain ski that will flex but also take it when i want to bomb or whatever
 
theyll do fine in pow, theyre pretty much an all mountain ski with a turned up tail (in my opininon)
 
Sweet, thanks guys.. oh and how long do those foam cores hold up.. i'll probly get new skis in a few years so ya.
 
I skied them and I really disliked them. They were way too chattery and quick. Not all that stiff. The only thing I liked about them was that they were light.
 
i'm close to your height and weight and i have the 06 foils in a 182. reaaall sick. love em.

p.s, i need a new bike. wanna buy my sticks? haha
 
umm few years meaning 3 seasons? or 2? ... cuz 3 seasons (depending on how much u ski) could be pushing it on the foils
 
foils are a good choice. I have them in 174 and they are great everywhere. Also, it depends how many times you go skiing each season. Keep in mind that most skis are designed to be used for no more than 30 days of hard skiing. Even wood cores will loose camber.
 
there great but the edges suck i had them from boxing day till know and the edges are starting to fall off because their thin and crack easy but they were a fun ski no doguht
 
Foils will do whatever you want them to, haha like someone said before, they are almost just an all-mtn ski with an upturned tail, hence they dominate the entire mountain
