im 5'9'' and 130 pounds and i was wondering wats a better all mountain ski for me i was either thinking the foils or chronic wides??

i would say foils, only because i like salomon and they completly re-vamped there teneighty line

im not saying i don tlike line skis, but the chronic is the same jsut a different topsheet

I have chronics, size 177, and i'm about 175 pounds and 6'1. They are deffently a stiff ski, but are suprisingly poppy. My favorite ski i've ever owned or ridden. They are great for park AND all mountain.

I don't know that much about the foil, but i'd immagine its probably not as stiff. so yeah, probably a little better for a youngin.

But hey, the Chronic looks really dope... and ehh... i donno about how the foil looks. Its all a matter of opinion i guess.

i broke my salomon's after half a season, but i'm a bit heavy for their foam cores..but you're not u can get away with them, but my chronics lasted, i'm still using them now...i guess it would come down to preference and $$, but the chronic is pretty stiff, and made for heavier riders, but they're really poppy

I would get PEs there stiff so theres great pop in the park but ther stiff so the hold an edge well. Great allrounders.

how old r u? r u still growin?.. if u are pretty much done growin i would get the foils just because of the flex... but if u still have alot to grow GET THE CHRONICS! there is really only one word to describe the chronics... awesome... but the flew might be just a tiny bit too stiff for you. they really are as line said "bomb proof"

WRONG! The thruster and is a lighter ski for all weights and the Flyer is made for light people, the foil is NOT designed specifically for light skiers anybody can use them

yeah but the foam core doesn't hold up to heavier riders...i broke my salomons after 10 days on them, but i have 25 on my chronics and they are still sick nasty...it's the chronic yo!
