Foils or Karmas????

I need new skis and i was thinking about either the Salamon Foil or the Volkl Karma. I havent demoed eithere of them yet but if u own these skis give me some feed back

karma...foild have a foam core and will get all noodlie on u after a while.

I heard the karma has a more lively feel. Also the karmas are stiffer and heavier but the foils are softer. If your doing more park get the foils, but if your doing more all mtn. stuff get the karmas.

ive heard some bad things about the Karma, but i thinks in freeskiers's reveiw they liked the foil better.

Out of the two skis, which carves getter on hard icy conditions??? and how do they handle the chunks?
