Foil vs. STL

Which ski would be better in the park? (in terms of flex, pop, swing weight) I ski about 75% and 25% all mtn. I previously owned the '05 STL's and loved them, great in the park. I've heard that the foil would prob. be better all around but i know the STL can handle some all mtn.

well, the new STLs are awesome skiing skis (stiffer than the old ones). however, the skis are built HORRIBLY after laving 5 axis. mine literallyr lasted 4 days, and then it took the entire season to warrenty them. go with the foils

the latest ones. and my origional ones got about 3 inches of reversae camber before snapping. fun ski, but they will not last. ive never destroyed a ski so quickly as last year. within 4 days, tail delamed. then the other. ripped 12 inches of edhge out. sidewall delammed from the ski, tip broke off (straight across the ski, about `4 inches from t he nose), a bunch of other delams. granted i ride pretty hard, but this was in about 2 months of midwest riding. ive had urban skis last longer

Damn you musta fucking gotten after it right after getting those skis. Mine have held up great, way better then my heads(original bombproof mthers) and my ar5s.

having owned both, get the foils, they're fun every where. I haven't skied the new stl's, but I hated my old ones, much to soft for anything but park.
