FOIL CORE

all solly twins do. they're made from a foam core so they noodle after 2 years. i'm pretty sure they're making some wood core skis next year so wait if you're gonna buy them

If you want to use a ski for more than one year, don't buy a foam core,

which is what salomon has been using on most of their skis. They are

changing some of them for this year.

Bullshit.

Wood and composite have the same consistency.

If you are jibbing your ski will fall apart before they stop popping.

some peeps are gonna disagree
but in my opinion, foam core has more pop than wood core when they are new
and my salomons are still fine after over 40 days, maybe cuz i weigh nothing.....

i agree with the more pop when they are new, but the question was whether or not the pop lasts... wood core pops for more days on the hill

and the foam core does make the ski lighter and livelier also so the people who are sponsored by salomon and can get new skis whenever, they love the skis

foam cores no doubt have more pop than wood but after a season of the foam they have absolutely no pop and the skis are completely lifeless. it's just a tradeoff, so if you want more pop you have to replace skis more often
