Flying with Black Diamond JetForce Pro

Does anyone have experience flying with a Black Diamond JetForce Pro avalanche backpack?

I will be flying to Japan and I'm wondering what I have to keep in mind.

It has always been a pain flying with ABS backpacks. Security is always confused. I'm wondering if anyone has hands-on experience with this type of battery-powered airbag backpack.
 
Print that off and bring it with you in case there's any questions, if you're really nervous. I HIGHLY doubt people are going to give you better advice than a guide specially prepared by the company answering your exact question.
 
lmfaooo I misunderstood this so hard. I thought this was like a fuckin warranty issue causing people to get sent into the air after pulling the charge

It depends.

Last time (with my ABS backpack) I printed out the pages from the manufacturer and followed all their instructions, put the document on the gas canister in my checked luggage. It got confiscated anyway and never arrived in Japan.

So maybe someone has flown recently and can share their experience.
