Flycam 3000

Hi guys,

I'm looking to buy a steadycam like a glide cam, but I do not have the money for one. I was wondering if any of you guys has any experience with the flycam 3000 and if they are an good. I have heard that they are flimsy, and break easy. My camera setup is a t3i with a video light, a battery grip, and so far only a kit lens. An other suggestions would be great.

Thanks!

I have the nano, and I've shot 3 weddings with it now. Nothing about it is damaged, and it's picked up some pretty good shots for me. I'm usually using it without many attachments (I have a cheap hotshoe mic I use for picking up emergency sound if I decide later that I absolutely needed something) but with a T2i and a 17mm prime, it has worked pretty damn well for me.

I'd imagine the flycam 3000 would be just fine. I'd probably recommend picking up a quick release plate for the top, though. Trust me, it fucking comes in handy.

I recommend something better. I have 3 of the Giottos QR video plates that I have picked up for various things (the plates work with my tripod head) and they allow you to have fore-aft adjustment without dealing with adjustments on the actual stabilizer itself, so make for a much faster balance. That, and they have a bubble level on them so you can dial it in real nice.

The only thing I've ever used the plastic plate for is to use on an old tripod I have that doesn't have a QR plate whatsoever to begin with. It's fine, but for what, 25-30$ it's totally worth it to get a QR slider plate to make adjustments 100 times easier.

Look into the Glide Gear DNA 5050... I just ordered mine, should arrive by the end of the week. Its a little more expensive than the Flycam but is better build quality. Also I know a few people who have used it and say it is pretty much a Glidecam and is a great alternative.

You just need the flycam and the plate. Now youtube a video on how to balance it, followed by a video on how to use it, and then practice. It's not as easy as it looks haha good luck!

Last week my flycam 3000http://www.dvcity.com/dvshop/FLYCAM...er-with-Free-Plastic-Quick-Release-Plate.html camera stabilizer reached to me. With stabilizer I also purchased arm bracehttp://www.dvcity.com/dvshop/FLYCAM-Arm-Brace-support-for-Flycam-3000-Flycam-5000-Flycam-Nano-Glidecam.html and body podhttp://www.dvcity.com/dvshop/FLYCAM-Body-Pod-for-Flycam-3000-Flycam-5000.html.

It’s little difficult to balance, but that's to be expected from any stabilizer. It took me about a half an hour to balance it, for the first time, but I was very impressed by the results. It was easy to set up and didn't take much of a learning curve to use.

Hie guys, I m 'CAMTREE Wonder-7 DSLR Stabilizer System' User. I found it very good product and the price is also very limited. Lightweighted stabilizer is pretty easy to use.

All of you, get the fuck out of here with your shitty marketing spam. It just makes us not want to buy from you
