yeah so i was watching an old ski video and i was like wow theyre doing a lot of flips. whatever happened to flips? they look sweet ecspecially when you do them off clifs

i think a sitting down take off a jump into a frontflip would be pretty cool. (it's probably been done before i just don't know)

Flips are gay. They're only fun for messing around with like "hey man check out my backflip triple spread". Still, they look messy..

Backflip mute is one of the most classic newschool tricks of all. Besides mute 3 obviously.

flips are super cool, especially with mutes. i love flips, frontflips especially. oh and flip sequences look sooo good

Dude cork 7s are way scarrier and harder than backflips. Do you seriously think pros are scared to do straight flips?

Jon Olson does a few straight backflips in X and Skogen does one in RFA

i've tried off axis inverts and have not tried straight inverts yet, for the honest reason that i'm more scared of them.

you may not see straight inverts in movies anymore because a) they're oldschool and b) they would take time away from more progressive clips. However that doesn't mean pros don't do them when they're riding for fun, and there's no reason not to learn one.

With any trick, I'd ask yourself this: have you ever done it? If not, no reason not to.

cork 7s you never even have to stop looking at the ground really. On big jump you lay your backflips out your blind for a while, it creepy. But I guess everyone has their own opinion.
