Flip butters/hand drags progression?

So I was thinking today about random things and skiing popped up. I read some comments earlier about how skiing could progress way further in butters and handdrags and stuff, so I made up some cool ideas.

You know dumont's ninja butter/butter frontflip thing? That's sick, and people could expand on doing shit like that, like butter backs or underflips and shit. Also, switch butters to corks or switch manuals to late 180 pop over a roller could be cool too (if anyone is going skiing anytime soon).

Also, for hand drags, a cool idea is to flip until you get upside down, drag, and do a hand-spring type thing off of it. Or just handsprings on skis could be awesome too. I dunno, it could look steezy.

Wallpushes are another idea I was thinking about. Instead of doing the wallride, superman out and push off with your hands and spin out or something.

Sooo if anyone has any thing to comment about on these or add any more ways these tricks could go to just tack them on here.

haha that made me laugh

but I mean, in a wallride you don't go straight into it. You go at an angle, and you don't change your momentum direction too much when you can push off.

up here in duluth minnesota people have been doing those with 5's like it's no bodies business. wait for like a couple hours and check horner for his latest video should be up tonight. 540 hand drag over log jib eight feet off the ground.

i learnt how to wallpush this year, they're oodles of fun and pretty easy (im really not that good, and i can land them 50% of the time)

I don't know if this is a wallpush but I learned how to like go on an angle to a quarterpipe or like the side of a run (not on a wallride yet), and press then plant both your hands then push off with them and with your skis and do a 180 or 270.

Is this a wallpush kinda?

mayb some switch tails over onto urbans? thatd be cool. deff more butters, reverts would be cool of rails and even jumps!

duh. but charging skis are different from powder skis. you don't go and hit steep AK lines with something like...hellbents. You use those for waist deep powder days at your home mountain, or for a trip out to utah or something.

Except for the butter backflip, i've seen everything in this thread happen upon skis. Which is why skiing is fucking sick right now.

yeah, let's tone it down a bit

creativity is cool and all but not really if the shit you're doing is fucking hideous to watch

if you want to get into that though go for it, just label yourself an gymnast acroskier so we know to judge using a preset points and card evaluation system

i would say true ollies and true nollies will def be the thing next year, like a nollie back or a spin after a nollie is kinda hard, i think some poeple did it already

i guess the wall ride could work

go up at an angle, handplant the top of the wall ride, push, spin off. it could be done

What about going up to some kind of fun box or something wide with a really big lip to it that is really high up and jumping forward, extending your hands kicking your skis out behind you so they dont drag on the box, then putting your hands on the box and pushing off kinda like jumping over a fence straight on instead of bringing your feet around. Then you could put out one hand and grab wiht the other eventually, or put ur hands out and push off and do a frontflip over the box.....

Just some thoughts

i always wanted to grind up the first part of a rainbow box or rail, obviously a big one, and handrag the second part. i know people do it on smaller ones, but grinding up a big one would be so sick.
