Flight of the Conchords = best show on TV right now

They have a show now? I remember I saw them do "Business time" live and it was a high point in my life.
 
yea they do! Its on HBO and its fucking epic! I think last night was the best episode of the season.

"What are you guys doing up there?

Bungee jumping?"
 
Yea, its not one of those were you can sit down for 5 minutes and "get it" and really enjoy it. Sorta like The Office in a lot of ways, as far as humor is concerned.
 
yea i've only seen one episode..funny, but fuckin weird.

i saw the one where one of the guys gets kicked out of the band and begins a career holding signs lol
 
This show has improved more and more. Keep watching all the episodes, especially 10 where they take a 1/16 th of acid.
 
the funny things are really stubtle. it helps for people to get stoned before they watch. It helps you get in the right mind set.

You guys think they will get resigned for another season? Its pretty low budget so I could see it happening. Although it may be a little too much of a cult following type show without the mainstream appeal that they are looking for.
 
Its showing in the UK now too, seen 2 episodes so far. Funny shit.

They did a radio show in the uk that ran for a few weeks about 2 years ago, I've loved them ever since i heard that.
 
I don't know, I pretty much think the show went to shit and fizzled out, just isn't funny to me anymore. But who knows.
 
I've really liked some episodes, some of the others have fallen a bit flat.

If you like it the guy who made it has made a movie called Eagle vs Shark, I've not seen it, but friends who love the show really liked the movie as well.
 
they did. the way hbo resigns its shows is by a combination of ratings and cost. for example, john from cincinati had 600,000 more viewers, on average, than tell me you love me. but milich spent too much per episode to justify only a 600,000 increase, so that show got the axe. fotc is a fairly inexpensive show to film, thus it was resigned.

 
yeayuhhh, im psyched, the entourage/FOTC combo is amazing.

and the wire comes back in january. HBO is ballin outta control right now.
 
FOTC is my favorite show right now i downloaded the whole season

i dunno where i went wrong...i walked on the outside of her....i bought her a kabab....i paid for half the taxi..should i have paid for the whole taxi?!?!
 
I looooove the conchords. And I'm actually from NZ, and down here they make it sound like they're pretty big over there, obviously a few people on here kknow them. I got my mum season 1 for xmas.
