Flexibility for grabs

I have always had trouble grabbing and for the most part I think it's because I am not even slightly flexible, like I don't even come close to being able to touch my toes. What kind of offseason exersizes and things do you do to help improve flexibility or help with grabbing in general?

Simple leg an back stretchin shoul do the job for most grabs.

If you're planing to do seatbelts you have to increase your mobility between your hips and upperbody.

A nice excercis for this can be done by sitting down on the ground with angeled knees , an shifting both down to the ground to one side. Then rotate your upperbody in the direction you put your knees to the ground, try to stay in an upright position and leave both your hands from the ground and rotate them with your upperbody. Try to extend your arms and you shoul feel an pulling force when trying to remain in an upright position.

Yoga is becoming a more and more popular type of training for professional and amateur rock climbers. Skiing is a completely different sport obviously, but from what I've heard it might actually be really helpful. Haven't tried it yet, but I'm thinking about taking it up before winter and see if it makes a difference.

get in a routine of stretching before or after bed. time doesnt really matter so much as long as you pick a time and stick to it.

Any stretches in particular that you recommend? I want to get into some sort of routine and try to make it habit by this next season.

Sit down , extend your legs and reach for your toes with both hands , isn't the best for your spine tho.

What also helps , and works wonders to keep you 100 after sports/skiing is laying on your back and droping your legs beneath your head. Then extend your feet

Pretty much any stretching nightly. I do yoga every night along with general lifting of weights and cardio and I'm feeling better than ever.

Just stretch man! you gotta work on stretching with your skis too like on the lift do that a few times and work on pulling your skis up more!
