there's two looks to a flat spin, most people stick to one. you can do it with your back to the ground during the spin so it's like a rodeo that doesn't do inverted, or you can roll onto your side/shoulder (as if your lying on your side in your bed) and do a back flipping motion. Definately a trick to try on tramp, once you get it the motion is simple.

through rodeo and keep ur shoulders open and look at 180 for a while then just try to hold the grab and stay flat then ull come around

yeah its like the hockey check. get on a diving board, i did one my first ever try on a diving board, they are super easy off them. just throw your shoulder out and to the side like you are jumping and making your back go first. its fun and feels weird and cool.
