Flatspins on pipe?

How hard are they? I've been thinking about trying it so people who have done it if u could give some tips it would be high appreciated.. How much speed do i need ? How hard do i flip it? Anything :d

I was planing about flat 3. No 5. I can do flat 3s from jumps also. Try flair? Whats a flair?

I tried an alleyoop flat spin on a 12 ft pipe. I almost landed it.

I used to be able to ally-op flat 5's in the pipe... but I haven't skied pipe in over a decade.

I did a run through the Blackcomb pipe this past winter... turns out, I suck at pipe now. true story!

if you can flat 5 on jumps they should be no problem in the pipe.

flat 5 is the only trick I can do in the pipe, I can barely even boost out. flat 5s are one of those tricks that just feels natural

essentially yes. for the OP imagine you are going up the right wall, you take off with your skis pointed down the pipe, lincoln toward the wall (right shoulder goes down), and then land with your skis essentiall pointed down the pipe still. If you understand pipe you know that technically you did a 180 and a lincoln which in pipe is a flair.

i think of it this way

break down Flair and its a Flip while doing a air, its a Fl=Flip and Air=air, so its a Flair
