flatspins and rodeos, difference???

wats the difference, ive seen kids do both them and it looks like to me a rodeo is a lincoln witha 180 or 360 and a flatspin is a 180 with the opposite lincoln like if u spin to the left u lincoln right? am i right or way off?

yea this is an on going wonder that i seem to have. dont know the difference. all i know is one is inverted, the other isnt. and i woulnt be able to untill i have a session and learn them.

 
alright cause this kid doing flats was going inverted but maybe he doesnt no wat hes talkin about

yeah whenever i think 'wow that was a sick flatspin!' it turns out that its a rodeo... wierd...

 
a rodeo is a lincoln loop 180

a flatspin is more all in one motion and u dont really get inverted.

they're the same but rodeo is more inverted. If you were looking from the side of a jump, when the skier is in the position where they are kinda on their backs, they will be flat in a flatspin and inverted (say 45 degrees) on a rodeo.
