This way works for me but this is how i see the trick... cum off the lip and put your right sholder forward so your hips are at about 10 oclock at the same time u must be back on your skies and your right sholder point down.. then just look over your left sholder for the landing.. and Commit!

I thought you lean back to do a flat spin, like a flattened out rodeo?

It may not be what you want to hear, but you do them the exact way it looks like you do them, if that makes sense, thats what I was told and thats how I did them. Look at tanners alley opp one on skiingmotion.

do like if you are body checking someone . ( like when you play football.

I'm feeling greeaaaattt!!!!

wait, lets get one thing straight, a flatspin is a mix between a lincoln and a backflip right, like a corked backflip? tanners and the one in the video section can be described that way, but JF Cusson's at skiingmotion.com, where he does flatspin 5's and 7's, they look way different, almost like a super corked and laid out misty 5/7 so i'm confused....

the key to the flatspin is actually falling through the takeoff...carve your skis a little to the side at the top of the jump and let your body sorta fall the direction your moving, but with your back first..then lead with your left hand, look back, and you'll come around
