Flatspin question

ok so a flat spin is is the flat (meaning feet don't go above your head) version of a rodeo, but does anyone know what the flat version of a misty is called?

I've heard the term "orbital" before, but who the fuck knows, most people pussy out and throw a bio.

dont worry about names of the tricks.

on this site people will lecture you for 2 hours about this trick or this trick, but they don t realy know what they talk about.

best exemple was this thread about rodeos and 99% people did not know that a rodeo 9 and a bio 9 is the exact same trick, exept may be for the first 1/15 second of the trick.

what you need to remember is = rodeo 5 and flat 5 are super close. and true flat spins are super rare. most of time it s a rodeo.

rodeo 3 and flat 3 are more different.

rodeo 3 is basicelly off axis lincoln.

flat 3 is off axis back.

flat 7 and rodeo 7 are different.

anyway you dont realy need to give a fuck about tricks name.

And thats perhaps the most confusing attempt of trick explanation ever. A rodeo 9 and bio 9 are completely the same, yeah.

flat 3s are flat 3s. a rodeo has to be a 5 at least. that's all. anything 5 or over is a rodeo. flat 3's are just fucking 3s.

this doesn't make sense to me. I'm pretty sure there's a difference between a flat 3 and a normal 360.

Hi, I will try to explain this for you as good as possible:

I will be explaining 4 tricks: To backward rotations (Rodeo, flatspin), and to forward rotations (Misty, bio)

--------

The rodeo is a backflip with a rotation. So your feet go above your head at some time.

Rodeo 540:https://newschoolers.com/web/content/viewvideo/id/190503/cat/10/search_string/rodeo/

--------

The flatspin is similar to the rodeo except that your feet DO NOT go above your head at any time.

Flatspin 720:https://newschoolers.com/web/content/viewvideo/id/183887/cat/10/search_string/flatspin/

--------

The misty is a frontflip with a rotation. So your feet go above your head at some time.

Misty 540:https://newschoolers.com/web/content/viewvideo/id/329684/cat/10/search_string/misty/

--------

The bio is similar to the misty except that your feet DO NOT go above your head at any time.

Bio 720:https://newschoolers.com/web/content/viewvideo/id/238332/cat/10/search_string/bio/

Please give +K, have spent a lot of time explaing... :-)

I'd say flatspin, cause as you see, his feet DO NOT go above his head at any time, and the rotation is thrown backwards :)

Admittedly, most rodeos do tend to turn into bioish looking things with rotations over 9. Nobody really throws bios anymore, so people aren't familiar enough with the trick to tell the difference.

a rodeo can't look like a bio at allyou flip in the opposite directioni think you mean rodeo and cork/d-spin

i will now try to invent this trick "freshboii flip 540" on the trampoline by the end of the week with video. and x-rays of my broken nose that will come

never ask for +k. that was helpful, but since you asked for K im not going to give it to you. but i didnt take it away either

no. the guy is right rodeo 9 and bio 9 look the same.

cork 9 and d spin 9 look the same.

but there s no way you can confuse a cork 9 and a rodeo 9.

it s funny how people dont realize how close rodeo 9 and bio 9 are. just think about it.

it is a similar angle, but in an opposite direction. left rodeo 9 leans right. left bio nine leans left

guys seriously, no one will ever be able to explain each trick on the interwebz. this is the second thread in days. give it a break.

kthxbai.

we need some orange names to do some explaining, and lets not even get started on SWITCH flips (what is the difference between sw cork and sw bio) etc.

TOM WALLISCH could you clear this up?

The only reason tricks are named anyway is so you can claim on the internet, if you do it on the mountain people will call it what they want.

no, the bio is the the equivalent to a cork, not a flatspin. When you cork your feet are more downhill then your head, all while not going inverted. The bio is the same but your head is closer to downhill than your feet.
