ok, a while back i was asking about some tricks and someone posted that tricks such as a flatspin 3 are impossible...wrong!...check out ben grunow's section in strike three, he does one over a transfer gap, looks hot as hell

 
i dont normally criticize people too harshly, but you are retarded. A 'flatspin 3' is not a real trick, just like a 'rodeo 3' is not a real trick. You are referring, probably, to just a plain old flatspin.

yeah man flat 3's are definitely real and very sick, the sideways backflip explanation sums them up as well as I think is possible. Some people also throw lincolns that are pretty similar.

you ignorant piece of shit...a backflip is called a backflip because there is one of it,and straight flips just do not get labeled with spin names..i dont know why but it just doesnt happen that way, now flatspin being just a type of spin gets those such labels because its not a single trick its a type of trick...like a cork or a d spin or a bio,but i do see what your trying to prove...i didnt make the rules i just know them

calling it a flatspin 3 is total overkill, and i find it amazing that so many people on here call it that, i had NEVER heard anyone refer to it as a flat 3 before. I have and will continue to always call a flatspin a flatspin and not a flatspin 360, you can do whatever you want

any flatspin is a spin on a flat axis. ive seen flat 360's up to 900's, and technically, flat 180's are possible as well (good luck).

i think what erik is trying to say is that the trick is like a backflip, in that you can't have different variations of it, it is what it is.

i disagree, it is more of a spin, and you can have different degrees of rotation of the same trick. kind of like a cork, you can cork any spin, yet it is still a cork. i think you can also bring any spin onto a flat axis, and it is still a flatspin.
