Flatground backflips

make sure you have good form. jump straight up and not back wards. you want all your jump energy to give you height. then arch your back and bring your knees up to your chest and while you start to flip try to keep your eyes focused on something in front of you and keep looking at it as long as you can and when you can't anymore flick it around really really fast and spot your landing.

Maybe off something else first to get a feel for how fast you can just straight up flip

grab yours knees when you tuck, thats what i do and it makes it easier. i find wall flips harder then flatground but thats just me

sounds about right but make sure you can get onto your feet before you hit the water get that down the go to like ledge to matress then grass

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO he will smoke either his face or his shins on the side of the pool if he wants it to be realistic the feeling of doing a standing one, because he needs all of his force going upward. Some people like learning in a sandbox with a flat board on the ground for your feet to get a sturdy surface to jump from...

um a wall flip is nothing like a flat ground backflip. i would suggest trying to find a gym near you that teaches gymnastics... many have open gyms where they will teach you that shit

my friend was doing that, so i told him not to hit his head right as he jumped. a second later, his head split open so we had to take him to the er. he had to get a couple of staples.

def on mats or grass. i used to have them on lock but as ii started doing parkour i fucked my knees up and now i cant do them any more

Yeah I'm definitely trying them onto grass, probably on a slanted hill or something so I don't eat it so hard my first try.

ok this is who i learned them. i went outside on the grass put a mat down and made my friend stand next to me and promis he would not let me land on my head. and i landed the first one i tryed

bad idea my friend was doing that and he usualy does it fine every time but he clipped his head on the concrete edge of the pool once and had to get stiches on his forehead

try it on a trampoline with no prejumps but have someone standing right next to you so you get no bounce at all, if you can do this then doing them on the ground sholdn't be a problem. or you can go to gym near by, when they have open gym and learn it in like 5 mins

get a belt and put ropes on the sides of it. get two people to hold each rope with tention and try.if you get it, try it with no tention but with them still there so if they see your not goin to make it they can pull. just make sure you concentrate on jumping first and then flip. i would do it on a gymnist mat first then go to grass. i havent tryed on in a very long time and i dont want to do it again with out a belt haha. oh and try to bring your feet in fast. at first i had troubles with that and would land on my knees. good luck.
